Born in Buenos Aires and graduated in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History, Laura Banchik found through textiles the perfect way to merge creativity, graphic experimentation and artistic creation.
Interested in the fashion world and all the creative possibilities it offers, she is happy to collaborate with her work in search of beauty, sophistication and differentiation.
Hand drawing and mixed media painting combined with digital manipulation provides her the freedom to experiment with a rich array of textures, patterns and colors, giving way to endless creative possibilities.
With a passion for color, an eye for detail and an unceasing curiosity, she is inspired by the countless colors, shapes and moods that nature has to offer, as well as some tiny little things from the everyday life.
ZigZagZurich collaborates with artists and designers, both established and new, on unique collections transformed into textiles under the direction of creative director Michele Rondelli and the founders of ZigZagZurich.
