Rounded letterforms slide across a soft ground of lilac, sage and apricot, their contours dissolving into fields of colour. Cosy feels as gentle as its name implies—an abstract typographic embrace rendered in muted daylight tones.

Alphabet as Architecture of Comfort

Thomas Heinz approaches lettering the way some painters approach still-life: not for literal reading but for the play of mass, counter-space and rhythm. Beginning with graphite thumbnails, he reduces the word “cosy” to four interlocking shapes, then refines edges digitally until every curve and diagonal supports the next. What remains is a composition that can be read or simply felt—an invitation to settle in. Woven as a double-face jacquard, the blanket captures the design’s subtle overlaps and the grain of hand shading, giving each block its own quiet texture.

To order custom curtains, start by measuring your window or track width. You’ll then choose your desired fullness in the next step – we’ll take care of the final curtain width based on that.

Step 1: Measure the Width & Height

  • Track width: Measure the total width of your curtain rail or track.
  • Window width: If you don’t have a rail yet, measure the full width of your window and add extra space if you want the curtains to extend beyond the frame.

Take 3 measurements – from the top of the curtain track (or where you plan to install it) to the floor or desired curtain length:

  • Left side
  • Middle
  • Right side

Step 2: Choose Your Fullness

Fullness refers to the extra fabric used to create a soft, wavy drape. While you provide the actual width of your window or track, we use that as a base and apply additional fabric to achieve the desired visual effect.

You’ll select your preferred fullness in the next step

  • Exact (0%) – Clean and minimalist, no extra fabric.
  • Minimalist (+10%) – A slight gather, simple and modern.
  • Standard Modern (+50%) – A balanced, softly pleated look.
  • Luxurious (+100%) – Deep folds and a rich, elegant drape.
