Marie Melcore

Marie Melcore is a multidisciplinary Design Researcher. After graduating in Graphic Design at Besançon, she continued her studies with a Master’s in Textile Design and Surface Materials at Lille. In 2019, she joined the first promotion of MA Biodesign at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. During this time, her research has evolved into a cross-disciplinary practice at the intersections of science, technology, bio-fabrication, biomimicry, and regenerative design, to collaborate with Nature by integrating living organisms in her design practice. Alongside her Biodesign research, she also launched her self-company as a graphic designer and illustrator.
