We're delighted to announce a special collaboration with the renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. Together, we have created a unique beach towel called "377 Kispi", dedicated to the Kinderspital Zürich (Children's Hospital of Zurich).
The Inspiration Behind "377 Kispi"
The "377 Kispi" towel was created to celebrate the upcoming completion of the University Children's Hospital in Zürich, also a Herzog & de Meuron project, which is scheduled for completion in autumn 2024. The name of the towel, "377 Kispi", combines the local nickname for the hospital, "Kispi", with the internal project number, 377, used by Herzog & de Meuron.
A Design Rooted in Architecture
The design of the "377 Kispi" towel is directly inspired by the hospital's architectural layout. Its shapes reflects the layout of the hospital, including its 16 courtyards. This architectural influence ensures that the towel is not only a functional item, but also a work of art that resonates with the innovative design of the hospital.
A Touch of Pink
Pink, a distinctive color used sparingly throughout the design of the hospital, was chosen as the primary color for the towel. This choice reflects the careful and thoughtful use of color in the hospital, providing a sense of connection and continuity between the towel and the building it celebrates.
We invite you to explore the "377 Kispi" towel and join us in celebrating this unique collaboration. Embrace the elegance and thoughtful design that reflects the essence of the Children's Hospital.
