Lorena Paterlini

Lorena Paterlini is an illustrator who grew up in Lenzerheide, surrounded by the mountains of Graubünden. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and a Master’s degree in Illustration, she returned to her alpine home, where she lives and works during the winter. In summer, she spends the season with her partner and children on an alp in Prättigau, caring for around 160 animals. This powerful and beautiful alpine environment strongly shapes her creative work, in which mountains, nature, and animals often take centre stage – rendered in bold colours and with a healthy dose of humour.
