Linen curtains are drapes made of linen for window treatments. It also serves as a blind protection and darkens a room. Linen curtain panels are produced from the flax plant, making it an eco-friendly and sustainable material. Linen is a natural material that is durable, robust, and has antiseptic benefits. Hence, with their natural texture, linen curtains are therefore breezy and have great light-filtering qualities, which creates your living space a warmth atmosphere. On this account, natural linen curtains also gained popularity as a luxurious window treatment.
ZigZagZurich uses the finest quality linen for its linen curtains, which are Oeko-Tex certified with the 'Master of Linen' award. Our colored curtains and drapes are crafted of 100% yarn-dyed premium linen and 100% Panama linens, made from Belgian flax linen and carefully handmade in Italy.
Consider factors like your window size, desired fullness, and number of panels.
We normally recommend a minimum of 50% fullness meaning if your curtain track is 100cm long you need a linen curtain width of 150cm. If you want more folds in your linen curtains when closed you need 100% fullness e.g. a 200cm wide curtain.

- 100cm x 300cm (39" x 118")

Why Choose Velvet curtains For Your Home?
1. Velvet curtains give a luxurious appearance and boast a rich texture. Velvet is the perfect addition to any room, adding a touch of luxury and elegance with its soft, plush texture. Our velvet curtains are available in rich, deep colours that can make a bold statement or enhance a room's colour scheme thanks to the fabric's ability to hold dyes well. Alternatively, lighter colours add a subtle tone to any room.
2. Light Control in a room & light blocking capabilities. Velvet is a thick, heavy fabric, and it blocks out light extremely effectively. Excellent for bedroom, cinema or lounges where darkness is desired. The fabric's density also ensures greater privacy, preventing people from seeing inside your home, especially at night.
3. Sound insulation & acoustic properties. Velvet's thickness blocks light and dampens sound. This will reduce noise from outside or between rooms, creating a quieter environment and reducing echo in a room.
4. Thermal Insulation and Heat Retention. Velvet curtains insulate windows effectively, reducing drafts and keeping heat in during the winter. This will contribute to energy efficiency by lowering heating costs. In summer, velvet blocks out harsh sunlight, preventing overheating and keeping rooms cooler.
5. Durability and quality. High-quality velvet curtains are built to last. They can withstand years of use without significant wear and tear, making them a worthwhile investment for the home.
6. Versatility in Style for any home. Velvet curtains are a versatile choice that can complement any décor style, from traditional to modern. They add a touch of vintage charm or blend seamlessly with contemporary interiors. Velvet curtains can be paired with other window treatments like sheer curtains for a layered look that adds texture and depth whilst creating a cosy, refined atmosphere.
