Stripe Tease 26 moves through amber, ochre, brown and plum in a richly layered composition. Its luminous centre and darker edges introduce warmth, visual depth and an almost cinematic atmosphere.

Inspired by Earth and Light

Warm golden tones appear to emerge from deeper brown and plum vertical layers, creating a luminous centre within the artwork. The composition balances dramatic colour with natural warmth, giving the familiar stripe a rich atmospheric quality.

Prepare your wall, then hang the wallpaper one strip at a time. The hanging method depends on the wallpaper type, so check which material you’ve chosen before you begin.

Step 1: Prepare the Wall

  • Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and free from loose paint or old wallpaper.
  • Fill any holes or cracks, then sand the surface smooth.
  • Mark a straight vertical guide near where you’ll hang the first strip. This helps keep the wallpaper level.

Standard Non-Woven Wallpaper

  • Apply suitable wallpaper paste evenly to the wall, one strip at a time.
  • Hang each strip dry, following your vertical guide.
  • Match the design at the edges and place strips side by side without overlapping.
  • Smooth gently from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles.

  • Activate the backing with water, following the instructions supplied with your wallpaper.
  • Hang each strip, matching the design at the edges. Place strips side by side without overlapping.
  • Smooth gently from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles.

Step 3: Finish the Edges

  • Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife and straight edge.
  • Let the wallpaper dry naturally, away from direct heat or strong draughts.
