Bas Steens

Bas Steens (1996) is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in Breda. He graduated from the St . Joost School of Art & Design and engages in a wide range of creative projects including illustration, workshops, paintings, sculptures, and films. His work is influenced by his fascination with "the mysterious," drawing inspiration from enigmatic places like deserts and universal symbols such as masks, animals, gates, and ladders. Steens has participated in artist residencies and exhibitions worldwide and recently showcased his debut short film El Viento at the Ecozine Film Festival. He is also a member of Zut Mon Sac, an art collective from Breda.
