Elzara Oiseau

Elzara Oiseau is a Ukrainian contemporary artist of Crimean Tatar origin. She studied monumental art in Simferopol, Crimea, and in 2014 moved to Kyiv. Since 2022, she has lived and worked in Zurich.
Her practice explores themes of belonging, memory, and the idea of home, shaped by her own experiences of exile and displacement.
Through abstract forms, text, and calligraphic rhythms, Oiseau reflects on vanishing landscapes and languages, transforming personal history into universal stories of identity, resilience, and connection.
