Wool Blanket "Sasso" by Mara Tschudi
The word “Sasso”, means stone in Italian. It comes from an idea and an image in the shape of a blanket. “I’m interested in a stone’s firmness and its weight; its place in the bed of a river or at the forest’s edge. This says something to me about belonging, about subtleness – which are things I think about when I apply colors. I aim to make them belong; I aim to make them saturated and clear in both their visual weight and final expression” – Mara Tschudi
