A Love Letter to the "Züri Summer"
ZigZagZurich, in collaboration with Zürich Tourismus, presents “Züri Summer”, a limited edition beach towel featuring artwork by Swiss illustrator Katrin von Niederhäusern. Inspired by Zurich’s unique summer culture and the bare skin stretched out along the city’s shores, the design captures the playful atmosphere of long days by the lake, spontaneous swims and warm evenings by the water.
From historic Badis and riverside swims to outdoor bars and late summer evenings, Zurich’s bathing culture remains one of the city’s most loved traditions and serves as the inspiration behind the collaboration. The artwork reflects the relaxed, vibrant and unmistakably local spirit of a Zurich summer.
Made from 100% yarn-dyed twisted cotton terry, the towel combines softness, absorbency and durability with a bold graphic visual language. Its generous 100 x 180 cm format makes it ideal for days at the lake, by the river or anywhere summer happens.
