Alec Cumming

Alec Cumming is a British visual artist whose vibrant practice spans the UK, India, and the United States. After earning his degree in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts in 2007, he held solo exhibitions in London and internationally.

From 2010 to 2013, Alec lived and worked in Delhi at the Niv Art Centre, exhibiting at nine editions of the India Art Fair. During this period, he became the youngest artist to stage a solo show with the British Council in India.

In 2017, he developed “Dialogues with India”, a striking series of large-scale murals created during a residency with Dyad Creative. His work has since been exhibited in Los Angeles, Paris, London, and Cyprus.

Alec is represented by The Edit Gallery, Paul Stewart Gallery, and Print Club London.
