JOIN OUR TALENTED ARTISTSThe Bandana Neckerchief “Public Spheres – Portugal” by Christoffer Jørgensen translates the ritual order of Lisbon’s Assembleia da República into a refined geometric repeat. Cut from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and digitally printed for pin-sharp detail, it drapes softly with light structure. Sized 65 × 65 cm for styling at the neck, in hair, or on a bag. Numbered limited edition.
Lisbon’s Assembly, Patterned for Daily Life
In “Public Spheres – Portugal,” Christoffer Jørgensen reframes the ceremonial architecture of the Assembleia da República as intimate ornament. Conceived within his ALTERED STATES project, the design tessellates podiums, balustrades, and chamber lines into a poised lattice—an homage to debate, order, and civic beauty. This wearable square lets the gravitas of Portugal’s democratic stage accompany you with quiet elegance.
Organic Cotton with Archival-Quality Print
Woven from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, the cloth is breathable with a smooth, gentle hand. Precision digital printing captures intricate architectural motifs with stable, luminous colour. The 65 × 65 cm format ties securely without bulk and keeps a clean edge through wear. Each piece is individually numbered in a strict limited run. To preserve finish and shape, handwash cold or dry clean only; avoid tumble drying.

To order custom curtains, start by measuring your window or track width. You’ll then choose your desired fullness in the next step – we’ll take care of the final curtain width based on that.
Step 1: Measure the Width & Height
Take 3 measurements – from the top of the curtain track (or where you plan to install it) to the floor or desired curtain length:
Step 2: Choose Your Fullness
Fullness refers to the extra fabric used to create a soft, wavy drape. While you provide the actual width of your window or track, we use that as a base and apply additional fabric to achieve the desired visual effect.
You’ll select your preferred fullness in the next step
No need to do extra math — just choose the look you want, and we’ll calculate the final curtain width accordingly.

Fullness refers to the extra fabric used to create a beautifully draped, wavy look. Although your window’s dimensions set the base size, we adjust the curtain width to add style and volume.
Born from a cross-cultural legacy, the bandana has journeyed from utility to icon—now a refined neckerchief for personal style, identity, and expression.
From South Asian bandhnu tie-dye to 18th-century Europe and the American West, the bandana evolved from protection against dust and sun to a symbol worn in salons, streets, and social movements.
Made from 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)–certified organic cotton, digitally printed for crisp architectural detail and luminous colour.
The 65 × 65 cm square balances softness with structure for versatile styling—at the neck, in the hair, or tied to a bag. Numbered, limited runs make each piece a wearable work of art.

Hand wash your organic-cotton neckerchief in cold water (max 30 °C) with a mild liquid detergent, or choose professional dry cleaning. Do not tumble dry—reshape and air dry flat or on a hanger away from direct sunlight to preserve the print and fibre integrity. If needed, iron on a low–medium setting on the reverse. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, harsh chemicals, and vigorous wringing; store loosely rolled or flat.
Crafted from 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)–certified organic cotton, this 65 × 65 cm bandana is digitally printed to capture intricate architectural motifs with crisp precision and luminous colour. The square delivers a soft yet structured drape—breathable, lightweight, and versatile for neck, hair, wrist, or bag styling. Individually numbered and produced in a strictly limited run, it elevates a cross-cultural icon into a sustainably made, collectible accessory that blends heritage, design, and modern craftsmanship.

ZIGZAGZURICH – WHERE ARTISTS MEET TEXTILES
We believe sustainability starts with responsibility — to materials, to people, to place. That’s why where possible every part of our production happens within 500km: from sourcing natural and recycled fibers to weaving, sewing, and finishing in Italy. We work with Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics, renewable treatments, and sustainable mills. By keeping things close, transparent, and human, we reduce our footprint and honor the craft. Lovingly made, honestly produced — for the place you live and the planet we share.
