Key combines broad geometric lines with elongated rounded shapes, forming an open, architectural repeat. Designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier and George Sowden, it brings a clear graphic structure to the wall while leaving space for the background to breathe.

A Graphic Framework for the Interior

The design plays with solid lines and the spaces between them. Its connected shapes establish a strong rhythm across the wall, creating an architectural backdrop that can frame furniture, artwork or a particular area of the room.

Choose Standard Non-Woven Backing (150 g/m²) or Pre-Pasted Non-Woven Backing (150 g/m²), supplied in 50 cm × 10 m rolls.

Standard non-woven is hung dry onto a pasted wall. For the pre-pasted option, activate the backing with water according to the instructions supplied with your wallpaper. The pre-pasted option carries a Euroclass C-s1,d0 fire classification.

Prepare your wall, then hang the wallpaper one strip at a time. The hanging method depends on the wallpaper type, so check which material you’ve chosen before you begin.

Step 1: Prepare the Wall

  • Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth and free from loose paint or old wallpaper.
  • Fill any holes or cracks, then sand the surface smooth.
  • Mark a straight vertical guide near where you’ll hang the first strip. This helps keep the wallpaper level.

  • Apply suitable wallpaper paste evenly to the wall, one strip at a time.
  • Hang each strip dry, following your vertical guide.
  • Match the design at the edges and place strips side by side without overlapping.
  • Smooth gently from the centre outwards to remove air bubbles.

  • Activate the backing with water, following the instructions supplied with your wallpaper.
  • Hang each strip, matching the design at the edges. Place strips side by side without overlapping.

Step 3: Finish the Edges

  • Trim excess wallpaper at the ceiling and skirting board with a sharp knife and straight edge.
  • Let the wallpaper dry naturally, away from direct heat or strong draughts.
