Pintura Studio

Pintura Studio creates fine hand printed fabrics and wallcoverings, inspired by history, beauty, life and love – made in New York City. Founded in 1996 by Christine Isles and Edward Rollins, Pintura Studio uses a multi-cultural, multi-epoch design philosophy to create a sonorous, universal aesthetic. All of Pintura Studio’s designs start with hand cut stencils, which are then used to create the artwork that is transferred to the silk screens used to hand print the fabric and wallcovering.   They have been included in Architectural Digest’s Great Design Issue, as well as having their work featured in many of the best interior and fashion publications in the United States.
